It’s finally here! A first trailer for the epic Steve Jobs film titled, obviously, ‘Steve Jobs,’ has just been released and it looks like it’s going to be amazing!
In Steve Jobs, which will hit theaters on Oct. 9, Michael Fassbender will take on the title role of Apple cofounder, chairman, and CEO, Steve Jobs. Following his death in 2011, mystery still surrounds the life of the legend and the movie, penned by West Wing creator, Aaron Sorkin, will attempt to investigate some of it. Steve’s launch of the iMac way back in 1998 will be depicted, as well as his rise to revolutionary status, along with the tribulations which accompanied his success, including his relationship with his family and maybe even his health. ‘Steve Jobs’ Trailer
“No one sees the world the same way you do,” Jeff Daniels‘ character tells Steve Jobs in this first trailer for Steve Jobs.
Certainly, nearly four years after his untimely death, most people couldn’t argue that statement. Judging by this sneak peek, the movie will only serve to enhance that.
“The two most significant events of the 20th century: the allies win the war, and this,” a voice says, undoubtedly referring to one of Steve’s (many) innovative and game-changing technological creations.
Steve Jobs Revisited
If the premise wasn’t enticing enough, the film also boasts a ridiculously A-list cast and creative team. Along with Michael and Jeff, the story will be brought to life by Seth Rogen playing Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak and Kate Winslet playing original Macintosh team member, Joanna Hoffman.
On the behind the scenes side, in addition to a script from Mr. Sorkin (who also wrote The Social Network), Danny Boyle will handle directing duties.
