The stars left their retro costumes behind and instead showed off fierce looks for the finale party — but who do you think really rocked the red carpet? VOTE!

It’s the end of an era! The Mad Men series finale wrapped on May 17 and the star-studded cast turned out to fete the end of the show with a screening in downtown Los Angeles at the Ace Hotel, where the stars gave the show a proper farewell — and although the series ended in 1970, the leading ladies of the hit AMC show showed off modern looks on the red carpet that were quite daring compared to how their character’s dress.

Mad Men Series Finale Party Best Dressed:

It has been amazing to watch Kiernan Shipka grow up on the series — and it’s also so cool to see how much her red carpet fashion has evolved. Although she’s just 15, the teen has managed to never fall victim to an awkward phase — how does she do it? She looked appropriate and chic for the finale as she donned a long-sleeved white fit-and-flare frock and silver embellished ankle-strap sandals — she looked perfectly put together!

Elisabeth Moss flaunted her curves and added a pop of color to the red carpet in a silhouette which featured a black halter top, open back and baby blue skirt — but the most interesting part of the outfit definitely had to be her orange patent leather peep-toe pumps.

While these stars got glam for the evening event, during the day Christina Hendricks stepped out in a bold pink pantsuit — and her highlighted every inch of her curvy figure.

Mad Men was known for the amazing fashion the leading ladies showed off on screen — but it’s clear that when they rock the red carpet their individual sense of style is just as captivating.

Do you agree? Who do YOU think was best dressed at the finale party?
