Chris Brown made a very bold statement when he held his daughter, Royalty, in his arms as he walked the red carpet at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. But what exactly was he trying to say by bringing his baby? HollywoodLife.com has all the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
After learning he was a father to 11-month-old Royalty earlier this year, Chris Brown, 26, has certainly become more and more comfortable in his role as doting dad. Case in point? Just look at how happy he was to pose for photos with his baby girl, while attending the Billboard Music Awards on May 17! A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that by bringing Royalty as his date, Mr. Brown wanted to show the world how much love he has for his little one. Aww!
Chris Brown & Royalty At BBMAs: He Wanted To Show World How Much He Loves Her
“Chris wanted his daughter with him. He wants to show the world how much he loves her,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He wants everyone to know that that’s his little girl and that they’re inseparable.”
We got the message loud and clear, Breezy — and we thought it was so adorable! Our source also tells us that Chris plans on making even more public appearances with Royalty.
“She’d better get used to having her picture taken and being on the red carpet because that’s going to be her life,” the source says. “Chris wants to take Royalty everywhere he goes and expose her to his world – the music world and Hollywood.”
While we love that CB is making an effort to see his daughter more often, we can’t help but wonder how his baby mama, Nia Guzman-Amey, feels about his plan to keep Royalty in California. Will she even allow their daughter to get a better taste of Hollywood with Chris? We’re holding out hope — because Royalty totally deserves to have a relationship with her “da-da” and vice versa.
Another reason Chris decided to have Royalty in tow at the BBMAs? Because he one-hundred-percent believes she will be winning a Billboard Music Award of her own one day!
“She already has an ear for music and every time she hears a song play, especially one of Chris’, she lights up, starts smiling and dancing all while trying to sing. Chris can feel it in his soul that his daughter will become a singer,” the insider says.
If Royalty does decide she wants to become the next big thing, she has a great role model in her dad — who rocked the BBMAs stage with his performance of “Fun” with Pitbull. Our fingers are crossed that there’s a daddy-daughter duet in the works!
