Bathed in neon and lasers, Nick Jonas brought it — to the MAX! Nick rocked out at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17, performing a completely radical rendition of his song ‘Jealous’
Oh yeah! You can always rely on Nick Jonas, 22, to sing his heart out for all his fans. The “Chains” singer didn’t disappoint when he took to the stage at the Billboard Awards. Nick nailed a bodacious 1980’s vibe when he delivered a totally tubular rendition of his hit song, “Jealous.”
Nick Jonas Billboard Awards Performance Of ‘Jealous’ Rocks The 80’s
All of Nick’s fans at home were jealous of the audience on hand to see him sing during the May 17 award show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Nick entered the stage amidst fog, shredding out a sweet solo on an electric guitar! Righteous! As he started singing, Nick took the audience back in time! The stage filled with fog and lasers, while Nick serenaded the audience under a neon light-show that featured tons of 80s images that was like, TOTALLY RADICAL!
In a night that honored the best of the Billboard charts, Nick definitely had a reason to be there. “Jealous,” the second single off his sophomore album, scored the #2 spot on the US Billboard Top 40 while hitting #1 on the US Hot Dance Club chart.
Nick’s performance helped make the 2015 Billboard Music awards the best yet. The show featured the world debut of the EPIC music video of “Badd Blood” by Taylor Swift — which starred everyone and anyone! Plus, Van Halen, Fall Out Boy with Wiz Khalifa also played, and that was just the top of it! The jammed-packed show also featured performances from Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran and Britney Spears with Iggy Azalea!
Nick Jonas: Award Show Superstar
Nick has been making the award show rounds! He hosted the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids Choice awards on March 28. The show, which saw Nick perform both “Chains” and “Jealous,” was full of surprises and, of course, slime! Nick ended up covered in the green goop, thanks to Jennifer Lopez!
The next night, at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Nick cleaned up and got serious. After Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson finished their performance of their hit duet, “Trouble,” Nick was brought out, wrapped up in heavy chains. It was intense!
