We’ve all heard the touching Paul Walker tribute song, ‘See You Again,’ but hearing it performed live on stage by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth at the Billboard Awards was incredibly special and moving.
Wiz Khalifa, 27, and Charlie Puth, 23, teamed up with violinist, Lindsey Stirling, 28, for a beautiful performance on May 17 in Las Vegas at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Leaving the audience choked up and teary eyed, the three musicians performed “See You Again” in honor of the late actor, Paul Walker.
Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth’s Billboard Awards Performance
Wiz, Charlie and Lindsey were all clearly moved to be performing such a special song live at the iconic awards ceremony. The musicians weren’t the only ones who were emotional during the performance, surly there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience.
The emotional song was originally featured in the 2015 movie Furious 7 as a tribute to Paul, who died suddenly in a car crash in November 2013.
Towards the end of their performance, a scene from the film with Paul showed up on the background screen — so emotional.
The fans watching at home were also extremely moved by the performance:
