Tiger Woods & Lindsey Vonn have split — but it’s not because he was cheating on her. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the couple’s once promising relationship imploded, because he didn’t want to marry again.
It just ran its natural course. Tiger Woods, 39, and Lindsey Vonn, 30, ended their relationship after he confessed he didn’t want to marry again. The 4-time Masters champion just doesn’t want to walk down the aisle after his divorce from Elin Nordegren, 35, in 2010. The couple simply, and sadly, had nowhere left to go, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Tiger Woods & Lindsey Vonn Split: Cheating Was Not The Reason For Break Up
The pair, who began dating back in March 2013, announced in a joint statement that they were parting ways on May 4. Then, just days later, a story came out blaming Tiger’s infidelity for the split.
“Tiger didn’t cheat on Lindsey, their relationship simply had nowhere to go,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “After his divorce from Elin (Nordegren), he doesn’t have the same appetite for marriage anymore. They got to a point, where after dating for a few years, they had to decide where the relationship was going to go.”
With no real reason to continue their relationship, and Tiger’s opinions on marriage evident, Lindsey did what she thought was best – call off the relationship. But it was all amicable.
“With Tiger’s stance on marriage being a no-go, Lindsey felt that it was time for the relationship to come to a natural end,” the source continued. “There’s no animosity between the two, nor was their any infidelity. It was an amicable split without any drama.”
Tiger Woods & Lindsey Vonn: The Cheating Allegations
In the wake of the break-up, it was reported that the golf legend allegedly cheated on the Olympic skier. Tiger’s alleged indiscretion happened in February after he withdrew from the Farmer’s Insurance Classic in San Diego, claimed the Daily Mail.
“Most men would drink over such losses. Tiger has sex over it,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Yes, Tiger cheated again. But it wasn’t with anyone special. He really wanted Lindsey to be the one. But he blew it again.”
Tiger was said to have confessed to Lindsey about his sexual encounter during a therapy session.
“It’s going to happen. Mistakes are going to be made,” the source continued. “But Lindsey is not like Elin, the long-suffering wife who will turn a blind eye. She knew that one relapse could lead to two and three and then he’s off to the races.”
What d’you think HollywoodLifers? Should Tiger & Lindsey get back together?
