Selena Gomez On Fat-Shaming Comments — New Interview
When asked by fans (at around 16:15 into the video) what one thing in this world she would change if she could, Selena turned to the camera and said, “Bullying. I would deactivate every single comment on any social media. I think you should have an email where you can send in questions, but you should be able to post what you want, say what you want, be what you want without anyone judging you or making you feel like your self-value is from an Instagram post or from people liking your post.”
She finished off her speech with, “I’d get rid of bullying. People are so mean it’s exhausting.”
You got that right, Selena! The singer and actress has been showing off a sexier, curvier body as of late, but she’s unfortunately been hit with awful comments about it. A fan recently took to Instagram to tell Selena to “work out” and “stop eating junk food,” and Selena didn’t like that one bit. She allegedly fired back at the hater and called them “disgusting.”
