The new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ hasn’t even started yet and already we’ve got some serious shade being thrown around! Check out this sneak peek of the season premiere to see how Britt managers to totally insult Kaitlyn’s flirting technique!

The Bachelorette returns to ABC on May 18, and the new season is guaranteed to be epic: we begin with not one but two women, looking for love. Of course, with a dynamic like that, the competition will be even more intense than usual and in this clip for the season premiere, we can see why. As potential Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson introduce themselves to their potential suitors, they have some very different approaches to warming up the crowd, and Britt doesn’t hesitate to throw shade at Kaitlyn’s tactics! Watch it now!

‘Bachelorette’: Kaitlyn Disses Britt In Season Premiere

Meow– and it’s only the first episode!

The season premiere of The Bachelorette is going to be jam packed with awkward meetings, flirty encounters and, apparently, some shaaaade.

“This is so classic Kaitlyn, I’m gonna start off with a joke,” Kaitlyn says to the room packed full of handsome dudes, all hoping to steal her heart. All the guys smile in delight, but someone not so taken with Kaitlyn? Yup, Britt.

Britt toasts Kaitlyn after her (terrible) joke, but on the inside, she did not approve. “Kaitlyn’s joke kind of speaks to what is different about Kaitlyn and I in this journey,” she says in a cutaway.

Britt Throws Shade At Kaitlyn

“This is our chance to walk into the room and say, ‘this is what I’m looking for,'” Britt says. “It’s not to do standup.”

So, what does Britt do with her opportunity to command the room? Well, she does take a drastically different approach.

“I’m looking for a best friend,” she says, as many of the guys lift their glasses in agreement. “I’m looking for someone to share my life with and that’s really fun,” she adds.

Did you approve of Kaitlyn’s joke, or do you agree with Britt that it was a waste of time?
