UFC Fighter Corey Hill Dead After Suffering From Pneumonia? Wife Says He’s Alive
Corey was reportedly diagnosed with pneumonia just a few weeks ago, his friend Jennifer Swift told TMZ. He actually went under a lung transplant, but unfortunately, the organ later collapsed, and it “went downhill from there,” Jennifer said.
Family and friends actually told the site that Corey died, but his wife has since denied these claims.
Lauryn told the site that Corey is “resting and still alive” and they’re praying he makes a full recovery.
“My husband is a strong fighter. Please everyone pray for him,” she said.
Corey has three children with his wife.
Corey made his UFC debut in 2008 after appearing on “The Ultimate Fighter 5,” according to TMZ. He famously snapped his right leg in a terrible injury during a televised fight. He fought his way back to the ring, and recently competed at an MMA event in Florida in February.
