Oh no! Is April and Jackson’s relationship not long for this world? In this sneak peek for the finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ we’re kind of thinking it might be the end!
On the May 14 finale of Grey’s Anatomy, there are new beginnings and, sadly, it looks like some endings as well. In this sneak preview, April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) finally address what’s been so different about April ever since she’s come back from that mysterious “combat zone” and what it means for their future. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t look too bright. Watch it now!
‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Will Jackson & April Breakup?
We still don’t know what exactly April was up to during the mysterious year that we missed due to the time jump on Grey’s, but we know whatever April was doing throughout that time seriously messed with her head. Well, it’s time for her to finally address the issue with Jackson.
“I need to say something and I don’t know how to say it,” April says, starting things off on an immediately unnerving note.
“You want to go back,” Jackson says, finishing the difficult thought for her.
“I thought it was readjustment, then I thought it was adrenaline addiction or something but it feels like… I feel like I’ve been called, Jackson,” she says, trying to explain. As it turns out, she doesn’t need to justify it, because Jackson gets it.
Jackson gets her, which is why the next part of their conversation is so heartbreaking.
Is This The End Of April & Jackson?
Jackson tells April, very calmly, that he thinks she should go back, to recapture that light that he hasn’t seen in her since they lost Samuel. April begins to thank him for being so compassionate, but he stops her.
“I love you so much, but I don’t think I can be here when you come back,” he tells her, breaking all of our hearts.
