When describing his perfect girl, Justin Bieber didn’t focus on hair color or looks. Instead, the ‘Boyfriend’ singer said he wants a girlfriend who connects and challenges him on a spiritual level! Selena Gomez, are you listening?
Justin Bieber, 21, isn’t just doing a Hozier cover when he says “take me to church.” The Biebs is serious about his spirituality! In his interview with Seventeen magazine, Justin made it clear that he wants his next serious relationship to be with someone who connects with not just his mind and his body, but also with his soul! Perhaps he’s talking about a certain ex-girlfriend of his?
Justin Bieber’s Perfect Girl: Selena Gomez? Wants ‘Spiritual’ Relationship
Though Justin’s flirtatious behavior has led fans to think he’s only concerned about getting with a hottie, the Biebs revealed in the interview that his perfect woman isn’t just a perfect ten. In fact, Justin’s ideal companion is someone who encourages him to be a better singer and a better person.
“She has to push me spiritually,” Justin told the magazine.
Justin’s faith is very important to him, as he’s been very active in the Hillsong church. Another person involved in Hillsong? Selena Gomez. Way before Justin was bringing Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner to church services, he was even attending the same sermons with his ex, Selena. Even their painful break-up didn’t come between Justin and his spiritual relationship.
Justin clearly sees the organization an aid in his maturity and with his personal comeback. Though, with this new information, it seems that Justin keeps on describing Selena – who is also active in the Hillsong organization — when it comes to his ideal relationship.
Justin discussing his spiritual side isn’t the first time in the Seventeen interview that he alluded to his ex. Justin seemed to send a message to Selena when he said he wanted a girlfriend he could marry. “In a girl, I want someone who’s confident in herself and honest,” said Justin. “I have to find her very attractive as someone I can see myself with for the rest of my life.”
What do you think about Justin putting such an emphasis on his spirituality when it comes to his love life, HollywoodLifers?
