Oh my God, you guys. Could a ‘One Tree Hill’ reunion be in the works? Well, according to one cast member, it is actually possible– and we’ve got EXCLUSIVE scoop as to how!
Um, yes please! Following the massive influx of revivals and reboots (hi, Fuller House and Girl Meets World), could One Tree Hill be the next throwback series to make a comeback in the new decade? Perhaps! We chatted EXCLUSIVELY with OTH star Bryan Greenberg about whether the classic series could be revived– and you obviously need to hear what he had to say!
‘One Tree Hill’ Reunion In The Works?
Bryan Greenberg kinda has us thinking that way. While promoting The Olevolos Project Cocktail Brunch, which he is hosting, we asked Bryan that, since his former cast members Hilarie Burton and James Lafferty are so supportive, would the group be up for a One Tree Hill revival?
Well, first things first, Bryan laughed, and then told us, “you never know!” Okay, we like the sound of that. Go on, Bryan. “I’ve been pretty lucky that cast members from OTH, October Road and How to Make it in America have all been super supportive.”
Okay, so all we need for a One Tree Hill revival is a super supportive cast? Well we’re already there, Bryan!
Bryan’s Work With The Olevolos Project
Along with chatting about his former series, Bryan got personal about his work with The Olevolos Project. He first became involved back in 2010 when he traveled to Tanzania with friends. While there on a safari, he ended up getting in touch with the project’s director, and was able to see the conditions in which many children in Tanzania were living.
Still heavily involved with the project today, Bryan revealed to us why the project is so important to him.
“I’d say the most humbling part was sitting in on a micro finance meeting in the Olevolos village,” he said. “I saw 30 people each chipping in a dollar a week into a pot, which forms a community bank of $300. The group then would vote on how they would lend the money to each other to start a new business. It was then that I realized a true sense of community, how a little money goes a long way out there.”
