Nina Dobrev has an enviable bikini body, but it doesn’t come for free! She’s revealing the exercises that keep her in shape to ‘Self’ magazine — and one will only take 5 minutes a day.

Nina Dobrev, 26, looks gorgeous on the cover and inside the June issue of Self magazine. She showed off her flat abs in the photo shoot, and she also spilled her secrets to keeping her slim shape.

Nina told the magazine: “Exercise has to be fun for me.”

She relies on 4 things — volleyball, yoga, running and core work.

The core work is easy to do any time, any where. “I do planks on a balancing ball. Then, keeping my feet on the ball and my arms in plank, I bring my knees in towards my chest. Three sets of 10 and you’re shredded. I actually hate it, but I love the results.”

She expands on her other workouts:

“I’ve been carrying a [volleyball] around the set with me. We’ll bump it around between scenes. The producers of our show even built me a volleyball court near the set because I love it so much.”

“I do [yoga] because of the mind-body thing. It’s a lot like dance in that the stretching and elongating feel so good. My favorite position is still lying down, Savasana.”

Running: “I have playlists that I’ll put on when I’m on the treadmill. Whenever it’s the chorus, the exciting part, that’s when I’ll go on an interval and speed up to 6.5. And then once it’s not that part, I’ll slow down to, like, 5. When it comes back, I’ll get up to 10 or something.”

Just because this photo shoot was for a fitness magazine doesn’t mean she wasn’t glammed up! Her hair was done by Adir Abergel. Her makeup was by Jake Bailey using Lancôme and her manicure was done by Holly Falcone using Chanel Le Vernis polish.
