Wow. Beyonce and Jay Z took a strong stand against police brutality when they met with Freddie Gray and Mike Brown’s families on May 9. So sweet.
Beyonce, 33, and her husband, Jay Z, 45, did not hesitate to show their support of two families who have become household names after losing their loved ones due to police violence and abuse. Not only did they meet with the family of Freddie Gray, 25, one of the most recent victims, but Bey and Jay also got to spend time with Lesley McSpadden, the mother of Mike Brown, 18, who was shot to death by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.

Not only are they the king and queen of the music industry, but Beyonce and Jay are also advocates for equality and peace. Whether it be in their hometown of New York City, Baltimore, or Ferguson, Beyonce and Jay want to help promote peace and inspire others to do the same.
Joined by Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, and their good friend and business partner, Alicia Keys, the iconic couple proudly spent time with the families of Freddie Gray and Mike Brown. They also posed for pictures with the families, showing their solidarity in the fight for equality and peace.
Although the pictures weren’t posted on their accounts, Beyonce’s fan-stagram @Beylite posted them for her fans to see. Thanks to the #Rally4Peace tags, it’s safe to assume the photos were taken at Rally for Peace concert in Baltimore on Sunday, May 10.
