In this week’s episode of ‘Teen Mom OG’, the claws were out! All four of the moms met up in NYC to do press, and Farrah goes head-to-head with everyone.
On the May 11 episode of Teen Mom OG, Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, Amber Portwood ,Farrah Abraham and Maci Bookout head to NYC for press for the upcoming season of their show. But all doesn’t go well, and the three girls give Farrah a piece of their mind.
‘Teen Mom OG’ Recap: Farrah Heads To NYC With Simon
Farrah and her boyfriend Simon spend some quality time together in NY before Farrah has to do multiple days of Teen Mom press. During one of their night’s out, Simon reveals that marriage isn’t for him right now, and that he thinks all that married women do is nag. Once he says that, Farrah becomes livid. She pulls away from him in the car and blatantly gives him the cold shoulder. Ouch.
The next day Farrah outright asks Simon if he honestly was joking about his marriage comment. He tries to defend himself and says it was a joke, but clearly she wasn’t buying it and tells him she was about ready to cry over it. She admits that she’s not going to waste her time with someone who isn’t on the same page with her. Could this be the start to a rocky relationship?
Amber, Maci & Catelynn Arrive In NYC
Amber is ready to see the other moms, including Farrah. She decides to bring her new fiancé Matt with her to meet the girls in NYC. Once she arrives and proudly introduces him, she sees that everyone is already aware of their engagement, except for Farrah, who seems to be out of the loop. Amber continues to play the neutral role when it comes to having an opinion on Farrah returning to the show. She tells the camera, “Let her do her thing, I don’t care, I’m living my life.”
Maci goes into the press day feeling awkward to begin with, because she doesn’t know if Farrah found out that she had quit the show over her return. When she arrives and sees Farrah, you could literally feel the tension.
Catelynn is her happy-go-lucky self this episode and has a blast with Tyler meeting up with the rest of the cast. They even bring their new daughter Nova along, who right away steals everyone’s hearts.
Everything seems to be going smoothly until the producers show Farrah a clip of Maci quitting the show. The crew asks her how she feels in response to the clip and Farrah says, “she [Maci] should seek some counseling for her emotional situation.” Farrah later tells the camera that she thinks Maci is fake and that she’s only there because “she must need the money.” Ouch.
Once Farrah actually sees Maci face-to-face she calls her out by saying, “Why are you here Maci? Bye. No one needs you here!” Maci is blatanly embarrassed but keeps her cool and responds, “If you were my boss then I would leave, but you’re not.” The two girls go back and forth throwing digs at one another until a producer steps in and asks them to take their conversation to another room.
Maci and Farrah head into another room and sit down to discuss their issues with one another, but it’s clear nothing is going to get accomplished. Maci tries to take the high road and says she doesn’t want to argue, and that she just wants to get the issues out in the open. Farrah wasn’t having it and continued pushing Maci for the reasons behind the whole quitting situation. Both girls finally come to the conclusion they aren’t getting anywhere and Maci walks out.
Amber, Catelynn and Maci get together prior to doing an after-hour’s episode and see that Farrah called them all out on Twitter, because of their book covers. Farrah bashed them for not having their children featured on the front, which gets under Amber’s skin. She doesn’t feel that her 6-year-old daughter should have been on the cover of her book which talks about drugs, alcohol and sex.
When the three girls finally see Farrah for one last promo video, they let her have it. Maci starts it off by saying Farrah talks to her like a dog. Amber goes next and accuses Farrah of figuratively slapping her in the face, and says she attacked her over via Twitter. Amber continues to say that she didn’t think they had issues, but then Farah rolls her eyes in disagreement. That did not go over well with Amber who lashes out and says she’s pretty much done with Farrah.
In the end all the girls hug it out and say their goodbyes — all except Farrah who just walks away.
