‘Revenge’ may have taken its final bow on May 11 after four seasons, but I don’t think I’m the only one who was left screaming at the idea of my beloved Nolan Ross getting a spinoff after that final scene! Here’s why Em’s sidekick deserves his own show!
Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) getting justice for the innocent one case at a time? That’s something I’d love to see on a weekly basis. The final moments of the May 11 series finale of Revenge hinted at the possibility that Nolan’s story wasn’t over, and that had me jumping for joy. If I had it my way, Nolan would be getting his own spinoff show because, honestly, how are we going to survive without him?
‘Revenge’: Why A Nolan Spinoff Would Be A Fantastic Idea
First off, who wouldn’t watch a show where Nolan goes all Olivia Pope on us every week? I mean, just put it on TGIT lineup and I’d be perfectly content.
The series finale of Revenge left Nolan’s future open-ended. In the show’s final moments, he received an opportunity to help someone seek justice (or revenge) over a loved one. Boom. Roll the footage, please. If anyone on this show deserves a spinoff, it’s Nolan. Emily (Emily Vancamp), Jack (Nick Weschler), Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and David’s (James Tupper) fates were all written in the stars long before the finale, but I don’t think Nolan’s done with the world yet. The world actually needs more Nolan.
Over the past four seasons, Nolan became such a pivotal character and a serious fan favorite. He was one-half of the Revenge team. There was no Emily Thorne without Nolan Ross. However, I think he could handle going solo on the justice-seeking and become the lead Revenger.
Gabriel Mann helped carry the show since day one. He could bring hella snark when Emily needed it, but he could be her shoulder to cry on, too. He was undoubtedly my favorite character. And let’s face it, he had the best lines. So it’s not a surprise why I think he should get a spinoff.
My wish may not be granted, but a girl can still dream, right? Regardless, someone get Gabriel on a new show STAT!
HollywoodLifers, would you like to see Nolan get a spinoff? Let me know!
