Everyone on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is still reeling from Derek’s death, and on the upcoming episode, it’s Amelia’s turn to lash out. Check out a heated sneak peek!
No one is over Derek’s (Patrick Dempsey) tragic death on Grey’s Anatomy, especially his sister Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). In fact, on the May 7 episode, Amelia will give Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) the piece of her mind she’s been holding in for the year since her former sister in law fled town. Unsurprisingly, the exchange is both intense and heartbreaking. Watch a clip right now!
‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Meredith & Amelia Fight About Derek
On the most recent episode, it was bombshell after bombshell as we learned that we not only had jumped forward in time, but that Meredith was actually pregnant with Derek’s baby and had left town without so much as a goodbye.
One person who was none too pleased about being left high and dry? Derek’s sister Amelia who, as we know, is a neurosurgeon. Amongst her many gripes, Amelia lashes out at Meredith for not calling her at the time of Derek’s accident because she believes she could have saved him.
“You didn’t call me,” Amelia says. “Who contacted you first? The police? The paramedics? How far away was the hospital? How long were you sitting there waiting for them to declare him braindead? How much later was it before I was even informed?”
‘I Should Have Been There’
The pain doesn’t stop there, though. Finally, Amelia asks point blank, “Why didn’t you call me?”
Meredith assures her that there wasn’t anything she could have done, but Amelia begs to differ, and she starts to lose her temper. “I pull of miracles for a living,” she says, beginning to scream. “I have proven that I can reverse the impossible. I should have been there.”
Ugh. Too much.
Do you think Meredith should have called Amelia?
