Kendall Jenner called dad, Bruce, “my hero” after he confirmed his gender transition on April 24. Now, in a new preview clip for Bruce’s 2-part ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ special, the model breaks down in tears while gushing over her ‘amazing’ father.
Bruce Jenner’s, 65, family is standing behind him as he publicly undergoes his gender transition, which will next be documented on a 2-part Keeping Up With The Kardashians special on May 17 and 18. In a newly-released preview for the special, Kendall Jenner opens up about her brave father, and even cries while discussing her “hero.”
Kendall Jenner Crying Over ‘Amazing’ Dad Bruce Jenner In ‘KUWTK’ Special
“He’s the most amazing person I know,” Kendall gushes, through tears. “I couldn’t ask for a better dad. He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am. Every single day we went to school 45 minutes away from home, he would drive us to home and he’d be the first one in line to pick us up.”
As Kendall reminisces about the happy memories, adorable video clips of Bruce with his kids flash across the screen, alternating with interview clips of the 19-year-old model wiping her tears.
We can imagine how hard this massive change must be for Bruce’s family, and it’s incredibly endearing to see his teenage daughter reacting so sensitively, yet in a positive way. Kendall rarely shows so much emotion, so to do so on camera was likely a big step for her. We’re so proud!
Bruce Jenner Tells Kim Kardashian: ‘I Could Do Your Makeup’
The network also released a second clip on May 5, in which Kim Kardashian, 34, chats with Bruce about the situation. During their sit-down, the Olympian shows off his perfectly-pedicured toes.
“Your feet are actually way more feminine than I would have ever imagined!” Kim raves, laughing. “I am impressed!”
Bruce even admits to his stepdaughter that he’s “very good” when it comes to makeup, and tells her, “I could do your makeup!” In response, Kim only laughs — perhaps she’s not ready to add Bruce to her glam squad just yet!
The KUWTK cameras also caught Kris Jenner’s, 59, reaction to Bruce’s news. In a previously-released clip, the Kardashian matriarch sheds tears while discussing her ex with Kim.
“I have these memories of this life and I feel sometimes like it didn’t exist,” Kris admitted in the preview. The whole thing is pretty heartbreaking and emotional, but even though Kris clearly took this hard, she also referred to Bruce as her “hero” after his 20/20 interview.
HollywoodLifers, will you be tuning in for this KUWTK special? What do you think of Kendall’s reaction?
