How amazing would it be to watch Amanda Bynes, 29, strut her stuff on next season of Dancing With The Stars? An insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that ABC wants to invite Amanda to the dance floor, but only under certain circumstances. Find out all the deets!
Amanda Bynes On ‘Dancing With The Stars:’ ABC Wants Her If She’s Stable
While Amanda has shown signs of getting better before, her mental state has gone through some major ups and downs over the past couple years. Producers of DWTS are hoping the former child star will be healthy enough to compete on the next season of the show this fall!
“They want her! If she does it, she wants to dance with Derek [Hough] or Mark [Ballas],” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She is in very, very loose discussions and absolutely nothing has been set in stone but as long as she is mentally stable, she is basically a lock for the next season.”
Amanda proved she’s got mad dance skills when she moved and grooved next to Zac Efron, 27, in 2007’s Hairspray. Sadly since then, the fallen starlet has succumbed to troubles with the law, while dealing with alleged drug abuse and reported mental illness.
Let’s hope Miss Bynes can tango her way to a true comeback. She’d so get all of our votes!
Amanda exhibited increasingly bizarre behavior at the end of last year. In October 2014, her parents forced her to enter a psychiatric hospital to finally get help. The “Easy A” star was released later that month and we haven’t heard much from her since – not even on her favorite form of communication: Twitter.
“Her parents are a complete emotional wreck,” a source close to the family revealed to us at the time. “They are looking for any avenue to save their daughter. It is extremely sad.”
We’re hoping that Amanda is in much better shape these days — and ready to put her dancing shoes on!
