We’ve also got a look at Adam in his creepy costume, as well as Lupita Nyong’o behind the scenes! Check out those pics and more inside!
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: Adam Driver Is The Villain
After speculation, it is now confirmed: Adam Driver will play the villain in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In a photoshoot by iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz, we get our first glimpse of Adam as the villainous Kylo Ren. He wears all black (obviously), and is trailed by creepy looking snowtroopers, as they stomp through some wintry terrain. If that weren’t revealing enough, the photo is captioned “Next-generation bad guy Kylo Ren commands snowtroopers loyal to the evil First Order on the frozen plains of their secret base.”
The thrilling photoshoot also featured a couple other very interesting peaks at the new movie as well as a look behind the scenes. In a closeup photo of Oscar winner Lupita, we see her face adorned with several small, white dots. Apparently, said dots are used for special effects. “A small galaxy’s worth of tracking dots affixed to Lupita Nyong’o’s face allowed artists at Industrial Light & Magic to transform her into the C.G.I. character Maz Kanata,” the photo details.
In another photo, we see Oscar Isaac, posing next to his all important plane with the caption, “Dashing Resistance pilot Poe Dameron stands alongside his trusty X-wing fighter.”
What do you think of the new pics? Are you excited to see Adam as the Star Wars villain?
