Royal Baby — Princess Name: Why Are They Waiting To Announce It?
So, what’s the hold up on the name announcement?! Will and Kate want to inform the Queen of the name they chose before it is publicly released, royal sources have confirmed to Daily Mail.
Although there is no protocol which says the Queen needs to be consulted about the name of a newborn, Will and Kate insist on sharing the information with the Princess’ grand-mother first — how sweet?!
Will and Kate took their newborn to meet her grand-mother on May 3, according to Daily Mail, which means they have most likely already informed her of her name, so the public will be finding out at any moment!

HollywoodLife.com has also EXCLUSIVELY learned why Will and Kate did not talk to press after the emerged from the hospital on May 2.
“It was Prince William’s decision not to talk to reporters waiting outside St. Mary’s hospital,” a royal insider tells HollywoodLife.com.
“He and Kate aren’t exactly a fan of speaking in public. William realized that Kate had been through such an exhausting day, and he wanted to protect her. It was a considerate move by the Prince who also felt that offering the press a picture of baby George was sufficient enough.”
