Beyonce is always making a fashion statement — even when she’s not the one wearing it! Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian looked great on the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala, but we can totally see some Queen Bey inspirations in their looks. Check it out!
When it comes to fashion statements, there is almost always someone who does it first, and unfortunately for both Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber, this time it was Beyonce! At the 2015 Met Gala, the Biebs looked so dapper in an embroidered blazer, while Kim looked beyond sexy in a fringed white gown. Interestingly, each look mirrored a Met Gala look that Bey has worn before.
Justin Bieber & Kim Kardashian Copy Beyonce’s Met Gala Looks — See Shocking Pics
First, let’s start with the Biebs! Justin couldn’t have been more excited to walk the red carpet at his first ever Met Gala, and he was invited by none other than Balmain creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
Justin looked great in his custom Balmain blazer with golden dragon embroidery, and this was perfect for the “China: Through The Looking Glass” theme. However, as soon as he hit the red carpet, we couldn’t help but be reminded of Beyonce’s Givenchy dress from the 2013 “PUNK: Chaos To Couture” Met Gala! Her dress also featured a dragon design, but we’re not at all hating on Justin! This was probably the best dressed moment of his young life.
Kim Kardashian Copies Beyone’s Met Gala Look
Unlike Justin, this isn’t Kim’s first time at the rodeo, and she looked stunning! Whether or not we’ve seen a similar look before, this sheer white Roberto Cavalli gown looked absolutely beautiful on her. The lacy details and geometric designs were beyond flattering, and the backless gown had a long fringed train that was both sexy and sophisticated.
Kim’s dress was a total winner, but it was immediately compared to Beyonce’s Givenchy dress from the 2012 “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” Met Gala. Though there are obvious differences in their dresses (Bey’s is black and purple), the similarities are far more striking (both have lacy sheer design with long fringe trains). Either way, Kim looked great, and Bieber rocked it too!
