Victoria & David Beckham On Royal Baby: Their Phone Call To Will & Kate
“There’s been a lot of well-wishers, but one of the first to congratulate William and Kate were David and Victoria Beckham,” a royal insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “The pair got to know each other well at the Olympics in London in 2012 and have stayed firm friends ever since. David jumped on the phone as soon as he heard the news and wished Prince William and Kate well.”
David obviously knows full well what it’s like to welcome a baby girl into the world. He is father to 3-year-old Harper, who clearly is the apple of her father’s eye. William will likely dote on his daughter just like David!
Prince William & Kate Middleton Welcome Baby Girl
As we previously reported, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed a baby girl at St. Mary’s hospital in London on May 2 at around 3:34 a.m. ET.
The princess weighed a healthy 8 pounds and 3 ounces. Just hours after giving birth, Kate stepped out with William and the princess. Prince George, 1, visited earlier but had to go home to sleep. What a beautiful family they have!
What d’you think, HollywoodLifers? Is that a nice touch by David and Victoria to congratulate Wills and Kate?
