David Beckham’s Birthday: Turns 40 & Joins Instagram
David posted his first Instagram selfie on May 2, much to the delight of his fans. The soccer legend was completely shirtless and in bed! He may be 40, but he doesn’t look a day over 25!
He captioned his first Instagram photo: “Good morning and hello! It’s great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can’t wait to start sharing all my special moments with you. Thank you for all your birthday messages so far. Looking forward to a great day with friends and family x.”
How sweet! David is clearly already loving Instagram. After his initial hot photo, he shared pics from his special day, including one with his son Brooklyn Beckham, 16!
To make David’s 40th birthday extra special, he’s celebrating his day with pals Kate Middleton and Prince William’s little princess!

David is dad to four gorgeous children — Brooklyn, 16; Romeo, 12; Cruz, 10; and Harper, 3. David may be one of the world’s biggest stars, but he always puts being a dad first.
He’s been seen out shopping and doting over little Harper. During his appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, David revealed he chaperoned Brooklyn’s first date! So sweet!
