Kris Jenner never misses a beat when it comes to locking in a business deal. So of course, she has to cash in on Bruce Jenner’s docuseries, highlighting his male to female transition. HollywoodLife.com has all the scoop!
Bruce Jenner, 65, revealed that he was going to partake in a new show on E!, documenting his transition into becoming a woman when he sat down for his groundbreaking interview with 20/20. During his chat with Diane Sawyer, 69, Bruce hinted that his ex-wife, Kris Jenner, 59, wasn’t super supportive of his transgender identity. Well, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she is definitely giving her support — as long as she can make some money!
Kris Jenner On Bruce Jenner’s Transition — She’s Mastermind Behind E! Series
While Bruce admitted that Kris was not very accepting of his plan to transition in the past, a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that once the momager realized a show about his process could be profitable, she hopped right on board!
“Kris is the mastermind behind his new E! docuseries,” our source reveals. “She’s the one who made it happen! Bruce and Kris are still tight, but she’s playing it quiet, very quiet. She was not in the dark about his sexual identity challenges.”
And this new show won’t be the first time Kris has singlehandedly resurged Bruce’s image.
“Kris Jenner is a genius! She reinstated Bruce’s career in the ’80s. She brought him back from the edge and now she’s going to do it again. She is brilliant,” the source adds.
While Kris is the catalyst for Bruce’s new docuseries, she’s been criticized for her lack of support for the former Olympian, as he takes on a new life as a female. The latest to seemingly put her on blast? Bruce’s oldest son, Burt Jenner, 36. Bruce’s first-born sent out a very telling tweet on April 25.
“Having a hard time not putting a few people on blast who were not supporters before hand, but want to act like they were all along,” the race car driver wrote on Twitter. Yikes!
The tweet (which has since been deleted) came just hours after Kris posted a message of her own, where she publicly shared her support for Bruce. “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero,” she wrote.
Anyone who can help Kris get a green light for a new TV show? Definitely a hero.
