When Mayweather-Pacquiao goes down, Justin Bieber will be there in Vegas to see it firsthand. Where will Selena Gomez be? Not with Justin. Why didn’t he invite her to join him? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
It’s Vegas, so you can bet that Justin Bieber, 21, will be by the side of Floyd “Money” Mayweather, 38, when the undefeated boxer steps in the ring to face Manny Pacquiao, 36, on May 2. It’s the fight of the century and anyone who’s anyone will be there — except Selena Gomez, 22. Though she’s now single, Justin didn’t ask her to be his date for the event, and HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned why!
Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez At Mayweather Fight? Real Reason He Won’t Invite Her
Justin has shown he’s okay with hooking up with Selena, now that she’s broken up with Zedd, but that’s as far as the “Boyfriend” singer is willing to go! Asking her to join him in Vegas for the fight? Forget it!
“He is not going to make that kind of a gesture. He would never make that grand of a gesture for her anymore,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com.
Ouch! Seems Justin saw inviting her to the fight as something a boyfriend would do, and he loves his single life way too much to give it up. It seems Justin’s not against getting back with his ex, but he’s also not willing to make the changes required to make it work.
“He would want it to be on his own terms if they got back together but he doesn’t want to change enough for her. And he is certainly not starting to make a move to get her back by inviting her to the fight,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com.
Sorry, Selena. Looks like you’ll be watching the fight from home.
Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez: Will They Have Awkward Reunion At Met Ball?
While Justin didn’t invite Selena to join him in Vegas for the fight, these two might end up in the same place sooner than they think. Justin and Selena might be set for a tense reunion at the Met Ball on May 4. With Justin joining Zoolander 2, which is filming there, and Selena making a splash at last year’s ball, could this event be a bigger fight than Mayweather-Pacquiao for these two?
