Chris is ready to sign his name on the most important document of his life — Royalty’s birth certificate. Sadly, it won’t be that easy. HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned it may come down to one thing — money.
Chris Brown, 25, is making big moves when it comes to his daughter Royalty. Not only is he making sure he’s a constant in her life, but he’s also making sure all the legal paper work is in order. Although Nia Guzman-Amey reportedly didn’t list Breezy on their daughter’s birth certificate, he can still get legal rights to her.
Chris Brown: Ways How He Can Legally Get on Royalty’s Birth Certificate
Royalty is one lucky girl, her father is willing to do whatever it takes to take care of her. Chris reportedly isn’t listed on his daughter’s birth certificate according to TMZ, even though he is her biological father. So now what?
“The DNA tests show that Chris Brown is the biological father, so he could go to court and fight to get his name on the birth certificate,” Los Angeles attorney Mychal Wilson explains to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “However, he is allegedly negotiating with Nia Guzman outside of court to be recognized at the legal father of Royalty.”
Mychal went on to tell us, “Bottom line is that money speaks and Chris Brown will have to pay out to be legally recognized instead of going to court, which he probably loathes considering his past history with the judicial system.”
We don’t think any amount of money will stop Chris from pursuing legal rights to his daughter.
Chris’ Past May Play A Big Rule In The Eyes Of The Court
So, will Chris’ past be the deciding factor?
“Just because Chris is the biological father it doesn’t mean that he automatically gets rights,” Mychal tells HollywoodLife.com. “The judge may look at his past record which includes domestic violence, and decide he’s not a fit father. He may not be awarded with custody rights or even visitation rights. So, it makes sense that Chris would want to do this outside of court.”
That’s got to be tough on Chris, knowing that his past issues may come back to bite him in the rear. We surely hope this issue can be resolved, Royalty deserves to have her daddy in her life.
