After hearing Hawkeye sing during his ‘Tonight Show’ appearance, he might be our new favorite Avenger. Watch him perform a parody of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and learn what exactly makes him super!

Poor Hawkeye! He gets no respect, and Jeremy Renner, 44, is tired of it! The Avengers: Age of Ultron star decided to take matters into his own hands. Jeremy donned his Hawkeye costume and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to belt out a tune that told all the Avengers fans that yes — he has powers too!

Jeremy Renner Sings Ed Sheeran Parody While Dressed Up As Hawkeye

We have to say that Hawkeye made the April 28 episode of The Tonight Show more than super. It was amazing! He didn’t need a magic hammer or a high-tech suit of armor; he only needed a piano. While covering Ed Sheeran’s hit song, “Thinking Out Loud,” Hawkeye lamented how he’s the overlooked Avenger and that he has skills beyond his bow and arrows.

Hawkeye’s song taught us all about his special abilities. Did you know that he’s really good at Mario Kart? Or that he’s an accomplished trombone player? He also gets free guacamole, which we have to admit is pretty sweet. At the end of the song, the world knew just exactly what made this hero “super.”

We’ll have to check with Marvel comics to see if those powers are official. But, we do know one thing: Jeremy Renner has a super singing voice!

Avengers: Cast Sings Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘I Really Like You’

Hawkeye might not be able to fly or have unnatural strength. But Hawkeye might have shown up his ‘Avengers’ cast-mates with his amazing singing voice. Robery Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo all sat down and sang a cover of Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest hit, “I Really Like You.” They did a great job, but we think this round goes to Hawkeye.

Do you think Hawkeye is super now, HollywoodLifers?
