The announcement is expected to reveal that the 73-year-old will begin campaigning in May, likely in his home state of Vermont, ABC News reports. So far, Hillary is the only other Democrat who has officially announced a bid.

On the Republican side, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Sen. Ted Cruz from Texas have all formally announced campaigns.

It is expected that Florida governor Jeb Bush, son of former president George W. Bush, will also eventually announce a bid.

The most surprising announcement of all, though, came from Waka Flocka Flame, who revealed on April 21 that he also has plans to run for President. No, he’s not joking.

“I’m dead ass running for president in 2016,” he tweeted. The rapper even released a campaign video explaining the plans he has for the Oval Office, including: legalizing marijuana, banning dogs (and all other animals) from restaurants, and making sure everyone knows his lyrics.

Oh, and it will be a much more casual environment with Waka at the helm — he made it clear that he wants no one wearing a “hotass suit” around him. We can deal with that…
