Manny Pacquiao, 36, and Floyd Mayweather Jr., 38, will finally get in the ring after years of negotiations! HollywoodLife.com spoke with Manny at the premiere of his film Manny in LA and he had a very simple explanation on how he plans to become victorious in what is sure to go down as one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
The Filipino world champion looked right at us and said: “I will fight hard!”
Although his words were few they were strong and we’re sure he is ready to finally get in the ring with Floyd aka “The Best Ever.” We are sure he is more than ready considering they have been going back and forth since 2009.
Manny arrived in Vegas with his family, April 28 ahead of the big fight and you might not realize but the winner will be awarded a million dollar championship belt!
It turns out the belt, which is made of more than 3,000 emeralds, is being flown from the World Boxing Council in Mexico, according to TMZ, and flown to Vegas where it will be escorted with body guards to the MGM Grand.
But there’s much more at stake, it turns out Manny will reportedly only make 40% of the revenue on the night of the fight and Floyd will get 60%! Either way it sounds like no matter who wins these guys are going to make a ton of money!
HollywoodLifers, who do you think is going to win — Manny or Floyd?
