Wow! Nikki Reed looked absolutely beautiful on her wedding day, especially in that stunning gown that kept her covered in white lace.
Nikki Reed, 26, and Ian Somerhalder, 36, are officially married! Now that the first pictures of their special day have been revealed, all eyes are on Nikki’s gorgeous white lace gown — and that sexy backless design!
Nikki Reed’s Wedding Dress — Backless White Lace Gown
I’ll give you a minute to pick your jaw up off of the floor. After all, I can’t blame you for being stunned by Nikki’s truly beautiful wedding gown, which was made by Claire Pettibone!
Not only was the bride covered in head-to-toe white lace, but her gown had an elegant fishtail that fell perfectly around her as she posed with her handsome groom, also in all-white. What made Nikki’s dress really something was the back, which, technically, didn’t exist!
Nikki’s backless gown dipped down to her lower spine, revealing her effortlessly flawless skin.
The gown Nikki wore was actually a customized version of Claire Pettibone’s “Elizabeth” gown. The actress had the lace sleeves added, as well as a modified boatneck.
Of course Claire loved working with Nikki, saying in an official press release: “Nikki was a delight to design for, and I wish the beautiful couple every happiness.” So sweet!
Nikki’s Gown — Much Different Than Her First
The gown Nikki wore to marry Ian was much more classic than the one she wore to marry her ex-husband, Paul McDonald. In fact, the two dresses were drastically different!
While Nikki’s dress for her second wedding was elegant and covered everything but her back, her first gown was actually strapless with an embellished bodice. The material of her first gown was also much more like a shiny satin material.
Nikki’s gown to walk down the aisle in Topanga Canyon towards her husband, Ian, was definitely the more stunning choice. Of course, Nikki looked beautiful on both of her wedding days!
