Although Bruce’s family is extremely supportive of his transition, Kim explained that it’s still a ‘hard adjustment’ for them. She revealed that they are all going to family therapy on the TODAY show.
“It’s a daily process,” Kim Kardashian, 34, told Matt Lauer on the TODAY Show on April 27. During her first interview since her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, 65, told the world he would be transitioning to life as a woman, Kim opened up about her family and how they are dealing with the news.

After Kim proudly talked about her support for Bruce, Matt Lauer asked, “Was there an adjustment period?”
Kim responded, “There is still and adjustment and there is family therapy and were really close. I see reports that say this one doesn’t support him and this ones over here and my mom feels this way and it’s all really so made up. We all really support him. Is it a hard adjustment? Yes. Is there things we have learned more recently…it’s a daily process.”
“I love having so many siblings and such a supportive mom because, you know, each family member might be dealing with this in a different way,” Kim went on. “But we have each other to go through this experience with. And I’m really grateful for that.”

During Bruce’s interview with Diane Sawyer, he revealed that Kim has been the most supportive of his stepchildren and Kanye West has everything to do with her outlook in the situation.”Kim told me a story,” Bruce told Diane. “She goes, ‘You know what really turned me around on thinking about this?’ And I said ‘What?’ She goes ‘Kanye.'”
“They were talking about it and he says to Kim, ‘Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything,'” Bruce explained. “Since then, Kimberly has been by far the most accepting, and the easiest to talk to about it.”
