From Emmy Rossum rocking a bright orange frock to Orange Is The New Black star, Dascha Polanco, celebs put their most fashionable foot forward at the Variety Power of Women New York Luncheon on April 24. Lena Dunham made a statement in sequins and Kim Kardashian was either best dressed or worst dressed — depending on who you ask! Get into their looks below.
‘Variety’ Women In Power Luncheon Best Dressed: Kim Kardashian & More
Some people like it, some people don’t! This seems to be the theme with many of Kim’s style choices, but we do have to say that she made a statement! Her ivory Narciso Rodriguez Fall 2015 suit consisted of wide-leg trousers and collarless blazer was absolutely stunning — just a little ill suited to her frame.
One look that we cannot stop raving about is Emmy’s tangerine look! She also opted for monochrome and looked so beautiful in a structured Oscar de la Renta dress with a flattering layered skirt. She paired the eye catching dress with matching orange pumps and softened the look up a little with a silver metallic clutch. She even wore tangerine lipstick. Love it!
Emmy Rossum, Lena Dunham & More Stun At ‘Variety’ Luncheon
Lena looked lovely in a navy blue sparkling Mary Katrantzou Fall 2014 shift dress with colorful embellishment on the front. This dress was perfect for the occasion and while the Girls star usually takes a minimalist approach or goes completely over-the-top, this was a nice balance.
We’re even more excited for Season three of OITNB now after seeing Dascha! Of course, she’ll be back in her jail jumpsuit, but she looked gorgeous in her white silk, kimono-style dress. I am obsessed with the abstract phoenix design and she completed her look with white and black booties and a white clutch. Dascha dresses perfectly for her curvy shape and she always looks great.
Some other looks that we loved were Cobie Smulders‘ checked a-line dress and Rachel Weisz’s polka dot suit. We also can’t ignore that our EIC, Bonnie Fullerwas a stunner on the red carpet in Nicole Miller!
