For the ‘Variety’ Power of Women event on April 24, celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Cobie Smulders lit up the carpet — even though it was daytime! Let us know who you think had the best beauty look of the luncheon.
Kim Kardashian, Emmy Rossum, Cobie Smulders and Rachel Weisz were just a few of the famous faces spotted at Variety‘s Power Of Women luncheon in NYC on April 24, but these are the ladies who made the cut for the event’s best beauty. Power Of Women Beauty — Best Hair & Makeup At ‘Variety’ Event
Kim Kardashian went for the wet look with a deep side-part, and slicked-back locks.
Her makeup was actually pretty understated, and she wore a relatively light amount of bronzer and shimmery highlighter. Of course there were oversized lashes at play, but they were balanced by shades of brown and taupe eyeshadow and liner. Nude lipgloss completed her neutral look — very appropriate for daytime!
Emmy Rossum looked fresh and summery with a center part and tousled waves, bright, blushing cheeks and a pretty red lip color. Hairstylist Ryan Trygstad for Sally Hershberger Salon used Tresemme products to give Emmy’s hair that perfect windswept look. For Emmy’s scorching scarlett pout, celebrity makeup artist Gita Bass used Tom Ford Lip Color in Wild Ginger. Muah!

Cobie Smulders was pretty as a picture. The Avengers star wore her hair in tight, short curls — so ladylike! Her lovely blue eyes were done up on the natural side, with only a little liquid eyeliner and mascara. A peachy lipstick like the Burberry Beauty ‘Lip Mist’ Natural Sheer Lipstick in Nude Peach topped off her springtime look.
Rachel Weisz went pretty n’ punk with by wearing suit and tie, and matched with pulled-back hair, a bold red lip and sculpted brows. We like Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Beauty Express’ for Brows & Eyes — it’s an all-in-one, foolproof kit that includes brow stencils, shadow and wax. With this palette in hand, it’ll be a cinch to get bold eyebrows like Rachel’s!
