With 10 kids to tell about his decision to transition to female, Bruce had to have a lot of tough conversations — and his revelation about the daughter who took the news hardest is quite shocking.
Bruce Jenner, 65, really did tell-all during his 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer on April 24, and naturally, spend a good chunk of the 2-hour special discussing how his family has reacted to his gender transition bombshell. But can you believe it was actually carefree, down-to-earth Khloe Kardashian, 30, who had the most trouble with the news?!
Khloe Kardashian’s Reaction Bruce Jenner’s Transition: Taking It Hardest
Bruce had ten kids, six biological and four who he helped raised after marrying Kris Jenner, who he had to tell about this huge life change. And even with his teenage daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, in the mix, it was the seemingly most accepting, Khloe, who took the news hardest.
“Khloe’s been very emotional,” Bruce admitted. “She’s had the toughest time with it because she’s had a lot of losses in her life.”
Still, despite having trouble accepting the news, Khloe is fully supporting Bruce now that he’s sharing his story. In fact, as soon as the Olympian revealed his identity as a woman, the reality star took to Twitter to simply write, “LIFE.”
And those were all the words she needed.
If Khloe’s difficulty with the situation was a shock, this might be an even bigger bombshell — it turns out Kim Kardashian, 34, and her husband, Kanye West, 37, were the first of the Kardashian family to show immense support.
“It’s tough on them I understand that and I wouldn’t rush that issue,” he said, of telling his family. “Kim has been by far the most accepting. She said ‘girl you gotta rock it … baby you’re representing the family and you’ve gotta look very good!’”
He added that when he first told Kim the news, she kept tight-lipped about it, but after a conversation with Kanye, she came around. Yeezus baby!
HollywoodLifers, are you shocked that Khloe took Bruce’s transition the hardest?!
