What a good guy! Justin Bieber is supporting his friend Kendall Jenner as she worries about her father during his transition. Find out the cute way he’s taking care of his pal.
Justin Bieber, 21 and Kendall Jenner, 21 are great friends — and friends with benefits — and the pop star is helping his pal get through this tough time while her father, Bruce Jenner, 65 makes a difficult gender transition. Sweet Kendall is worried about the way people will react to her father’s decision, and Justin has been standing by her side to keep her cheered up the entire time.
Justin Bieber’s Helping Kendall Jenner Through Bruce’s Transition
The support of good friends can get you through almost anything. When times are rough, leaning on your friends can help distract from the worries and fears of the real world. And that’s what Kendall’s doing with her buddy Justin.
Kendall is so anxious about her father’s interview with Diane Sawyer on April 24, in which the former Olympiad is supposed to reveal his decision to transition to a woman. She loves her dad, and already sees what people are saying about Bruce; she’s scared that the mean comments are going to escalate. And that’s where Justin has truly stepped up to help.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “Justin’s been really supportive of Kendall during this whole process. He always asks herhow she’s doing and he’s always leaving her inspirational texts. He knows there are a lot of bullies out there who say mean things about Bruce so he’s constantly reminding her not to let the negativity get her down. He plans on watching the interview tonight.”
What a thoughtful friend! The longtime buddies are always spotted having tons of fun together (and sometimes hooking up), and it’s so sweet to know that Justin can be seriously considerate when Kendall needs him. This friendship seems good for you two!
Everyone is waiting for Bruce’s revealing 20/20 interview, when he’ll finally discuss his long-rumored transition. It’s understandable that Kendall is worried about her father and the public’s reaction to his discussion with Diane, but she should be glad to know that not too much is phasing Bruce right now.
According to a source at US Magazine, Bruce is very “proud and excited” about finally transitioning to being a woman. We’re proud of you too, Bruce!
But he still has his qualms about the interview itself, which is understandable. In a sneak peek posted by ABC, Diane asked Bruce if he was okay with everything be talked about in the episode.
“I hope I’m going to be okay,” he responded. “I feel like I’m going to be okay. 2015 is going to be quite a ride.”
