Blake Lively, 27, has arguably one of the most enviable heads of hair in Hollywood. On April 21, while promoting The Age of Adaline in NYC, the actress stepped out with 10 equally gorgeous hairstyles. For the exact how-to, and to help solve the mystery of just how this was even possible, Blake’s stylist Rod Ortega takes us through five of her best looks. Blake Lively’s Hairstyles For ‘Age Of Adaline’ Press — Exact How Tos
For Blake’s loose waves on Good Morning America, Rod took the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Barrel Styling Wand, using the one-inch barrel and curled one-inch sections of the hair. Once the whole head was curled, Rod wrapped a small section of the front of the hair into a circle on top of the head, pinning the hair into place.
For Blake’s low ponytail look while leaving the Good Morning America studios, Rod simply pulled the hair into a ponytail, retouching the curls with the T3 wand and giving the whole style some hold with a hairspray like R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hold Hairspray.
Blake switched her hair back to loose waves while leaving Sirius XM Studios, which Rod reshaped using the one and a half-inch barrel on the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Barrel Styling Wand. This time, Rod took larger sections of the hair, wrapping each section away from the face for a more volumized look.
Blake Lively Inspired Hair For Every Day Of The Week
For her appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, Rod changed Blake’s waves into a super sleek style with high shine. To get the look, he used the T3 Single Pass X 1.5″ Wide Flat Iron, on small sections of the hair.
For her last look while leaving The Tonight Show studios, Rod went for a ’70s inspired style to match Blake’s colorful striped Balmain trousers. To get the look, he simply pulled back the front and side sections of Blake’s straight hair, running the loose sections through the straightener one last time before adding hold with more hairspray.
