Dalton Gray Car Accident: American Horror Story Star Nearly Blinded

The American Horror Story: Freak Show star was a passenger in a friend’s car, driving through Katy, Texas, when they were struck by an alleged drunk driver.

Dalton suffered some severe injuries, including a shattered hip/pelvis and femur and cuts to the face, but the most traumatic wound was to his eye, which was impaled with glass. In fact, the entire right side of his face had to be reconstructed, according to TMZ.

Luckily, it looks like everything is going to be okay. The actor’s Facebook page was updated on April 22 with a hopeful message regarding Dalton’s condition.

“Dalton was hit buy [sic] a drunk driver Saturday night. We are so grateful for everyone’s, support and prayers. He was pretty banged up and has some physical therapy ahead but Dalton will come back much stronger. Much love to everyone!” the post read.

The photos posted to Dalton’s Facebook page are pretty scary, but we’re so glad everything is going to be okay.

Ben Woolf Dead: ‘American Horror Story’ Star Dies After Being Hit By Car

Sadly, Dalton isn’t the only Freak Show star to be involved in a scary accident this year. In February, Ben Woolf, who played Meep on the show, died at the age of 34 after being hit by a car.

The actor was walking across the street in Hollywood when he was hit by a car’s side-view mirror, and four days later, he reportedly suffered a stroke and passed away.

Our thoughts are with Dalton, as well as the entire American Horror Story family, during this time.
