Would you rather face an army of killer robots or have the newest Carly Rae Jepsen hit stuck in your head? The cast from ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ did both! They recently sang ‘I Really Like You,’ proving why they’re Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
We really, really, really can’t wait for Avengers: Age of Ultron. The cast of the upcoming Marvel blockbuster took on a challenge just as scary as any supervillain – singing the latest song from Carly Rae Jepsen, 29! Were Robert Downey Jr., 50, Scarlett Johansson, 30, and Mark Ruffalo, 47, up to the task? Or was this too much for even for the Avengers?
‘Avengers’ Sing Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘I Really Like You’
When the Avengers cast stopped by the Captial FM offices to promote their upcoming blockbuster, they were ambushed with a karaoke surprise attack! Iron Man, Black Widow and the Hulk were then asked to sing a version of the newest earworm from the “Call Me Maybe” superstar.
They did a great job! Of course, they would — they’re the Avengers! Robert seemed to have fun with the lyrics, and we imagine there are a million fans out that would love to hear “I Like You” from Tony Stark. Scarlett seemed puzzled at how many “really’s” there are in the chorus (hint: six) but Mark was there, making sure the Hulk had his teammate’s back.
Robert Downey Jr. Storms Out After Interviewer Digs Too Far Into His Past
Robert had a better time singing Carly Rae’s song than he did when he talked with Krishnan Guru-Murthy from Channel 4 News. Robert got upset when Krishnan began prodding him about his past history with drug abuse instead of — you know — talking about the upcoming movie. When Krishnan didn’t take the hint, Robert decided to end the interview!
