It turns out there’s someone else who isn’t a huge fan of the #KylieJennerChallenge — her boyfriend, Tyga! The rapper is pleading with her to stop posting on social media ASAP. HollywoodLife.com has the scoop!
After teens began going to dangerous lengths to gain plump lips like 17-year-old Kylie Jenner, her boyfriend, Tyga, 25, has made it his mission to get her to stay off social media — or at least learn the best ways to present herself on the internet.
Tyga On Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge: He Wants Her To Stop Posting On Social Media
Kylie Jenner has been rocking plump lips lately, which she proudly shows off on the red carpet and her social media accounts. The starlet has garnered negative attention for the fuller look, but let’s be real — she looks beautiful each and every way.
What became truly alarming is the phenomenon dubbed the #KylieJennerChallenge, prompted teens to post photos and videos of themselves attempting to achieve Kylie-level lips, both seriously and in jest. The problem? The efforts are legitimately dangerous, hurting some of the kids participating.
Tyga is upset that Kylie’s social media posts led to this sensation, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. This isn’t the only questionable social media post she’s run, and he’s concerned about her internet behavior.
“He realizes that she’s a reality star and part of her job is to engage with her fans on social media,” our source said. “However, with this lip ordeal and the backlash she got from posting her face in black, Tyga thinks, and is even willing to pay for, a social media coach for Kylie.”
He has a point!
“He wants her to continue to share her life with the world and post things that are interesting to her, but he thinks she can be a little more responsible and understand that she has an effect on people. He’s hoping a social media coach will teach her how to be better at this.”
Clearly, Tyga cares for his girlfriend and wants to help her and her fans. But is he being a little overprotective?
“Tyga knows this lip saga is troubling Kylie and he’s suggested to her that she take a break from social media,” our source said. “He requested she give him her cell and laptop so she won’t be tempted to log on and post something.”
Not cool, Tyga. Not cool.
While Tyga thinks Kylie may need a social media coach, the teen is well aware of the impact of her posts already. She’s reportedly embarrassed by the entire situation, and deeply regrets that anyone thinks they need to change their appearance at all.
“She wishes she could meet every single person who’s done this crazy thing face-to-face, and tell them they’re beautiful just the way they are,” our source said. “Kylie’s not trying to be a trendsetter by any means with her lips. She had no idea some people would go to these very dangerous lengths in an attempt to make their lips fuller. She wants it to stop and believes all beauty comes from within.”
Good for you, Kylie. Hiring a social media coach couldn’t hurt, though.
