Is Michelle returning to the Tanner household? Well, the Olsen twins have spoken out about the new Netflix series, ‘Fuller House’ . . . and it may not be what you expect, at all.
After John Stamos confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel that Full House would be getting a spinoff on Netflix on Monday, April 20, apparently the news took a full day to get to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The girls just revealed that they’re actually “shocked!”
Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen In ‘Full House’ Spinoff? — New Interview
“We just found out about it today,” Mary-Kate told our sister site, WWD. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”
She also added that she’s “shocked” that she hasn’t heard from John about the news (God, Uncle Jesse!).
“I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” Ashley added, but they didn’t say they would or would not be in it — but they had to check with their TV dad first, duh. “I’m going to call [Bob] and get his perspective!” she added.
Will Spinoff Be Just Like Original?
So, who will be in the spinoff? Well Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) will be reprising their roles in Fuller House. DJ, a widow, will be pregnant and already have two children of her own. Luckily Stephanie and Kimmy have moved in to help (oh and Kimmy has a baby of her own!) So yes, it’s basically the same show right?
Well it won’t be without Michelle Tanner and her “how rude” line, right?! It needs to happen and hopefully the girls will call up their TV uncle, dad, sisters, etc. and make it happen! Do you want to see them on the spinoff, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
