So many stylish stars stepped out to fete the 100 most influential people in the world — but which influencer do you think brought their best look to the red carpet?
We were thrilled to see so many of our favorite stars honored at the Time 100 Gala in NYC on April 21, but who do you think made the biggest splash on the red carpet? My pick goes to Kim Kardashian, 34, who totally flipped the script when she arrived at Lincoln Center in a full ballgown. Her Sophie Theallet black eyelet dress, from the Spring 2015 collection, featured a plunging neckline and a form-fitting bodice, which accentuated her tiny waist, before giving way to a full skirt. Kim’s entrance was both elegant and dramatic while still staying true to her edgier style, thanks to the dark color and the styling of the dress.
Kim Kardashian’s ‘Time’ 100 Gala Dress & More Best Dressed:
I can’t get enough of this look on the reality darling — it is easily one of my favorite recent red carpet moments from Kim, and fit of the dress was perfection on her frame. Now that’s how you do black tie.
The darling Emma Watson, 25, was also in attendance, rocking a chic take on the menswear trend — it is a look she can’t seem to get enough of these days! The UN Goodwill Ambassador opted for tailored Dior separates and paired her look with a bold tangerine lip, (which continues to be the shade for Spring 2015!). While the stylish star makes everything she wears seem so effortless, I wish she would’ve gotten a bit more glam on this occasion — although she still looked flawless.
Laverne Cox dazzled when she arrived in a Marc Bouwer gown. The form-fitting frock fit her like a glove, while the bold shade popped against her complexion as she walked down the red carpet — it was a winning red carpet look from head-to-toe.
Like Emma, Faith Hill opted for a more demure approach — and while she looked beautiful in her Armani Prive gown, I thought the dress was a bit lackluster. Spring has finally sprung in NYC gals, please break out some exciting looks on the red carpet!
While each star opted for a totally different approach, they all oozed confidence in their chic looks. Which get-up did you like best?
