The Age of Adaline of about a woman who remains a “youthful 29 years old for nearly eight decades.” We have to say, Blake Lively, 27, was the perfect choice for the role since she looked timeless and elegant at the film’s NYC premiere on April 19. Get her exact makeup look below — most of the products cost under $15!
Makeup artist Elaine Offers for L’Oréal Paris described the inspiration: “Blake’s red Monique Lhuillier dress was super glamourous in that old school way. It was such a classic red carpet look — something you might see in Cannes. We kept the makeup on-theme and timeless.”
Here’s how to get the exact look:
“Elaine prepped skin with L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift Miracle Blur as a base for a smooth complexion.
She used L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Sun Beige for full coverage and a flawless finish. She topped cheekbones and the corners of the eyes for added radiance using the Magic Lumi Highlighter.
Elaine used the mid-tone browns in the NEW L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude palette to add dimension to Blake’s eyes, and contoured the corners with a darker brown shadow shade.
Next, Elaine applied L’Oréal Paris Smokissime Eyeliner in Black close to the lashline for dimension. For additional twinkle, she lined waterlines using Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter.
To arch and fill in brows, Elaine used L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper in Light/Medium.
Elaine coated lashes with the classic product L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara.
Elaine mixed L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lipliner in Coral and L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Balm Pop in Bold Blush on the lips. This made the lips shapely and pretty, but not overly defined or too bold in color.”
Blake’s stunning hair was done by Rod Ortega. It was styled in gorgeous waves and pulled to one side.
