First and foremost — everyone who was at the scene of the fire is okay. Phew.

But that doesn’t mean the situation wasn’t completely terrifying! In a video taken by a passerby, we can see cars slowing down on the highway while approaching the bus, which is pulled over to the side of the road and engulfed in flames and black smoke.

The blaze reportedly started when one of the bus’ back tires caught on fire, according to Hillary, and those on-board had to quickly evacuate the scene.

Once everyone was safe, Hillary took to Instagram to ensure fans that everything was okay, and give an update on what went down during her hectic and scary morning.

“It was me, my husband, our tour manager and the driver,” she included in her post. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe.”

The band is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the ACM’s on April 19, and are currently still expected to attend the show.

We’re so glad that everyone is okay and wish Hillary well as she recovers from this scary day!
