That. Mullet. Though. The followup to the 2001 film Joe Dirt, Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, is finally making its way to the big screen a casual 14 years after the first film’s release! Better yet, Joe Dirt himself (David Spade) is reprising his iconic role! The movie does not even have a precise release date yet, however, we do know that it will be released digitally on Sony’s Crackle streaming site, making it the first ever made for digital release sequel. Admit it though, you’re freaking stoked to revisit all your favorite white trash heroes! Check out the awesome sneak peek right now!

‘Joe Dirt 2’ Trailer

“This is gonna be good,” Joe Dirt says in this first trailer for Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.

I think you’re speaking for all of us, Joe! “Throughout history, legends are forgotten,” the trailer also tells us. “But this summer, one legend will keep on keepin’ on.”

If there’s a more inspirational mantra than that, I’d like to know what it is!

‘Joe Dirt’ Is Back With A Vengeance

In this sequel to the 2001 cult favorite, David returns as the mullet-wearing, rock and roll loving, down on his luck white-trash-hero who embarks on another epic journey, this time through the recent past, the heartland of America – and his own mind – to get back to his loved ones, according to an official plot description. Joe Dirt is back with a vengeance, and a mop. David reprises his role alongside Oscar winner Christopher Walken, Brittany Daniel, Dennis Miller and Adam Beach.

Patrick Warburton, Mark McGrath, Dancing with the Stars contestant Charlotte McKinney (!) and Kevin Farley also star in the sequel.

What do you think of the Joe Dirt 2 trailer? Are you excited for the sequel?
