Swoon! Zac Efron, 27, stole the award for Best Shirtless Performance at the MTV Movie Awards on April 12, along with stealing our hearts! Despite the steamy competition in this category, Zac ultimately took home the trophy for his hot shirtless scene in Neighbors.

Zac Efron Wins MTV Movie Award For Best Shirtless Performance In ‘Neighbors’

This is by far the most important award of the night — and perhaps even the most competitive, too!

Let’s not forget Zac’s hilarious role as the frat boy next door in the comedy Neighbors, where he showed off his washboard abs countless times! The best part of his win was when he took off his shirt for the audience which once again revealed his hot bod — excuse us while we fan girl out!

Sure, there was other steamy competition including Ansel Elgort21, in The Fault in Our Stars, Chris Pratt, 35, in Guardians of the Galaxy, Channing Tatum, 34, in Foxcatcher, and Kate Upton, 22, in The Other Woman, but we have to say, the former High School Musical actor deserved this award entirely.

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Relationship — She Says She Was Mean While Dating

We wonder how Zac’s ex Vanessa Hudgens, 26, felt about Zac’s huge win for best shirtless performance! Zac’s former HSM costar recently opened up in an interview about her relationship with him, revealing she was a mean person!

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about. ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice,’” Vanessa told the New York Times.
