Jordan was absolutely unstoppable at the 2015 Masters. The 21-year-old easily nabbed his first green coat and either broke or tied incredible records in the process. Congrats!
Jordan Spieth is the guy everyone is talking about. The 21-year-old won his very first Masters on April 12 in Augusta, Georgia after an amazing four day run. During the tournament, he became the youngest 18-hole leader and the first player to reach 19 under during the Masters. What a finish!
Jordan Spieth Wins Masters 2015
Jordan Spieth made quite an impression at the 2015 Masters. He owned every single hole during the tournament, and it was a sight to behold. Seriously, we’re not sure if we’ve ever seen a commanding performance from a golfer before. (Sorry, Tiger Woods.)
Early on, it was clear that Jordan would likely win the whole thing. The moment we can’t seem to forget, other than his final putt, was his performance at the 10th hole. The Texan got to 26 by putting one in from off the green. This incredible shot put Jordan back to 18-under.
Watch the putt below:
During the Masters, Jordan broke the record for most birdies at the tournament. He also became the youngest 18-hole leader and had the second lowest opening round in Masters history. Jordan became the only player to 19-under, beating Tiger’s record.
Jordan made his debut at the Masters only last year. He put up one hell of a fight against Bubba Watson. Unfortunately, Bubba took the lead in the back nine in 2014, leaving Jordan hungry for a win the next year. Well, he certainly made a comeback!
Tiger held the title of the youngest Masters winner for 18 years. Now he shares that title with Jordan.
Congrats again, Jordan. Golf fans, get ready to see a whole lot more from Jordan in the years to come. He is simply magnificent on the green.
