He’s the guy on everyone’s mind. Scott Eastwood is the star of ‘The Longest Ride,’ and he dished to EXCLUSIVELY all about his new movie and more!

Scott Eastwood — need we say more? The 29-year-old is the latest Hollywood hunk to tackle a Nicholas Sparks book-turned-movie in The Longest Ride. During a chat at the Empire State Building on April 9, Scott spilled to EXCLUSIVELY all about his new dreamboat status, chemistry with co-star Britt Robertson and whether or not he looked to past Nicholas Sparks hotties for inspiration!

Scott Eastwood In ‘The Longest Ride’

It’s safe to say that Scott is the new heartthrob in Hollywood. He’s easily the subject of every romance-loving girl’s fantasies. With this new status comes tons of attention from the ladies, so how is Scott handling his sexy new prestige?

“I’m pretty lucky, I grew up with five sisters, so there was a lot of estrogen in the family,” Scott adorably said. To up his cute factor even more, he added, “I’m just happy to be working and honored to be in this film.”

Scott joins the ranks of Sparks sweethearts like Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum, Shane West and Zac Efron. However, don’t think Scott drew inspiration from his predecessors. He wanted to make the role of Luke his own.

“I just read the book and tried to be as true to the character as I thought within the confines of the script,” he continued. But he did add that The Notebook was his favorite Nicholas Sparks novel. Good choice, Scott!

Scott Eastwood On His Chemistry With Britt Robertson

Scott co-stars alongside Britt Robertson, star of Tomorrowland and the gone-too-soon The Secret Circle. Britt and Scott have to film some pretty racy sex scenes together, so forming a strong friendship was key for these two to play lovebirds onscreen.

“We got along, so that was a start because when you get along with someone it’s easier,” he said. “If you’re like-minded people like we are, then you joke around, become comfortable with one another, and you can take chances and try things in the scene.”

Scott couldn’t help but gush about his co-star. “She’s just a rock star,” he said. “She’s super cool, the salt of the earth. She’s a great person and a really hard worker.” Bless him. What a sweetheart!

The Longest Ride is now in theaters. HollywoodLifers, what did you think of The Longest Ride? Is Scott your favorite Nicholas Sparks leading man yet? Let me know!
