From coast to coast of the US to Tokyo, Japan, famous ladies stunned this week in fierce frocks and intricate lace patterns, which is one of spring’s hottest trends. Though many of the stars were attending premieres and theater openings, the real art was found in their gorgeous outfits! Kristen Stewart, 25, Vanessa Hudgens, 26, AnnaSophia Robb, 21, and Lily James, 26, are just a few of the fashionistas that made our list this week. Let us know who your pick for best dressed is!
Kristen Stewart brought the drama in an edgy jumpsuit at the LACMA screening and Q&A of Clouds Of Sils Maria at the Bing Theatre in LA on April 3.
She looked effortlessly cool-kid in a jumpsuit from trendy UK brand Self-Portrait‘s Fall 2015 collection. The dual-color combo of teal and black is so pretty, and the jewel tone made Kristen’s green eyes pop! It was a nice change from her usual mini Chanel frock, though of course she looks great in those, too.
Kristen paired her outfit with classic pointy-toed black pumps, and kept her jewelry simple, sporting only a few rings. She let the fancy crochet details in her top do the talking!
A few days later, Vanessa Hudgens evoked a beautiful stained-glass window in a flowing maxi dress for the after-party of the Broadway opening night of Gigi in NYC on April 8. She looked so glam in an Alice + Olivia Fall 2015 strapless mosaic printed gown!
The former teen queen is moving on to more adult ventures, and she’s definitely dressing for the part. This look is much more polished than Vanessa’s usual bohemian ensembles, and we love this side of her.
Vanessa styled her maxi with a glittering black statement necklace, chunky rings and earrings. There was a lot going on in the jewelry department, but it didn’t overwhelm her look in the least. Of course, V’s best accessory was her shining confidence!
Meanwhile, AnnaSophia Robb looked positively vampiric — in the a hot, Vampire Diaries sort of way — in a Sophia Kah Fall 2015 dress. She was also attending the opening night of Gigi, and we daresay Anna almost overshadowed the play’s star! (In the end, we think Vanessa held her own.)
The coolest part of this dress, of course, is the lace cape. Plus, the weather outside is still in the 40s, so AnnaSophia found a happy medium: the short hemline on her dress is balanced by the coverage up above, providing at least a little warmth. Not to mention, it looks so chic!
AnnaSophia completed her look with Manolo Blahnik BB silver metallic pumps and Suel earrings. Pretty!
On the other side of the planet, red carpet darling Lily James looked beautiful in a star and moon printed mini dress at a press conference for Cinderella in Japan on April 7. She truly looked out of this world in her whimsical frock from Valentino‘s Pre-Fall 2015 collection!
This look is just the latest stop on Lily’s incredible Cinderella red carpet journey — we can’t think of the last time someone has knocked it out of the park so many times in a row. The constellation print on this dress is so fun, and perfect for the event, which was at the glamorous Ritz Carlton Tokyo! Lily’s long legs ended in a pair of gold and nude ankle strap pumps, which brought out the gold stars in her minidress.
HollywoodLifers, do you dare pick a favorite? If you manage to narrow it down, we’d love to hear your take on who was best dressed this week!
