Meet your ‘Suicide Squad’ everyone! We’ve now got our first cast photo for the upcoming film, and it is guaranteed to make your heart go all aflutter!

We’re getting closer to Suicide Squad— and this cast photo totally proves it! Thanks to the film’s very generous director David Ayer, who shared a photo on Twitter, we have our first look at Cara DelevingneWill Smith, Margot Robbie and basically the entire Suicide Squad cast– with one very notable exception! There’s still quite a long ways to go until the film’s Aug. 5, 2016 release date, but you can check out the adorable pic right now!

‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Photo

This is so exciting!

We’ve now got a very full cast photo of Suicide Squad, which is set to go into production this month. In the photo, we see Cara, Will and Robbie, as well as fellow cast members Viola DavisJai Courtney and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaj. Also pictured are newcomers Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz. So awesome!

However, it must be mentioned that the photo is incomplete, with one very notable cast member missing: where the heck is Jared Leto? I mean, he is playing The Joker after all! Also missing is Scott Eastwood, who just confirmed his involvement in the film but is nowhere to be seen in the pic!

But hey, with nearly a year and a half to go until the movie hits theaters, I suppose we should take what we can get at this point.

Ready For ‘Suicide Squad’

It seems that everyone is stoked for the ridiculously talented ensemble of actors coming together for Suicide Squad, which will film mostly in Toronto. Especially excited, though? Those actually working on the film.

Following the official casting announcement, Warner Bros. President Greg Silverman said in a statement, “We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.”
